Overview

Southwest Service Administrators is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing unique and specialized administrative services to labor-management Trust Funds (primarily) in the southwest United States with offices in Phoenix, AZ (our corporate service center), Albuquerque, NM and Salt Lake City, UT since 1995.

Southwest Service Administrators is currently hiring an experienced Eligibility and Enrollment Customer Service Representative. This position focuses on assisting members with questions regarding eligibility and enrollment of their health benefit plans.

Responsibilities

  •    Maintain knowledge of all Plans’ eligibility & enrollment rules in order to provide correct information to plan participants and providers.
  •   Provides information on eligibility to employers and participants.
  •   Responds to and documents telephone, written and walk-in inquiries regarding eligibility and enrollment in an efficient prompt and professional manner.
  •   Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  •   Prior Customer Service experience is required.
  •   Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  •   Ability to operate a personal computer, photocopier and scanner.
  •   Ability to type at least 35 wpm.
  •   Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel.
  •   Good organizational skills.
  •   Ability to deal professionally with different types of personalities by phone or in person.
  •   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •   Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  •   Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
