Southwest Service Administrators is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing unique and specialized administrative services to labor-management Trust Funds (primarily) in the southwest United States with offices in Phoenix, AZ (our corporate service center), Albuquerque, NM and Salt Lake City, UT since 1995.

Southwest Service Administrators is currently hiring an experienced Claims Support The focus of this position is to receive, open, sort and process mail.

Responsibilities

  • Open, sort and process incoming mail.
  • Organize, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Organize, sort and scan records.
  • Data Entry/Provider Matching.
  • Photocopy documents.
  • Scan and file documents electronically.
  • Purge files into storage.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office/ mail room setting helpful.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, photocopier and scanner.
  • Ability to operate mailroom equipment.
  • Ability to type at least 35 wpm.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to deal professionally with different types of personalities by phone or in person.
  • Ability to work independently / also as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
