    Southwest Service Administrators is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing unique and specialized administrative services to labor-management Trust Funds (primarily) in the southwest United States with offices in Phoenix, AZ (our corporate service center), Albuquerque, NM and Salt Lake City, UT since 1995.

    Southwest Service Administrators is currently hiring an experienced Medical Claims Analyst. This position is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing medical and/or dental claims.


    • Analyze claims as appropriate (pay, pend, deny).
    • Maintain knowledge of assigned Plan(s) and effectively apply that knowledge.
    • Maintain production and quality standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Three (3) years recent experience analyzing medical claims.
    • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Thorough knowledge of ICD-9/10, CDT Codes
    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Excellent Typing and 10-key skills.
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time operating a computer keyboard.
    • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
