    Southwest Service Administrators is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing unique and specialized administrative services to labor-management Trust Funds (primarily) in the southwest United States with offices in Phoenix, AZ (our corporate service center), Albuquerque, NM and Salt Lake City, UT since 1995.

    Southwest Service Administrators is currently hiring an Eligibility Processor. The Eligibility Processor is primarily responsible for processing Local Union employer’s monthly remittance reports and contributions as well as determining if members are eligible for retiree and/or COBRA coverage.


    • Process monthly employer contribution reports and retiree and COBRA self-payments.
    • Meet end of month processing deadlines.
    • Maintain knowledge of all trust fund eligibility & enrollment rules.
    • Provide information on eligibility to employers and participants. 
    • Respond to and document telephone, written and walk-in inquiries regarding eligibility and enrollment in an efficient, prompt and professional manner.
    • Other duties as assigned.



    • Strong mathematical skills.
    • Knowledge of COBRA rules helpful.

    • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to operate a personal computer, photocopier and scanner.

    • Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm and 8000 kph (10Key).

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel. Must be able to create spreadsheets using formulas.

    • Excellent organizational skills.

    • Ability to deal professionally with different types of personalities by phone or in person.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

    • Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
