    Southwest Service Administrators is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing unique and specialized administrative services to labor-management Trust Funds (primarily) in the southwest United States with offices in Phoenix, AZ (our corporate service center), Albuquerque, NM and Salt Lake City, UT since 1995.

    Southwest Service Administrators is currently seeking an experienced Receptionist. The focus of this position is to welcome and greet visitors, Provide Direction, notify company personnel of visitor arrival, Answer all incoming calls and transfer calls accordingly.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
    • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
    • Maintains security by issuing visitor badges.
    • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
    • Other Duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in office setting helpful.
    • Ability to operate a personal computer, photocopier and scanner.
    • Ability to type at least 35 wpm.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently / also as part of a team.
    • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
    • Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
